Get to Know Us
We are a faith-based gathering of women who convene to extend emotional, social, and practical support to each other. Our group operates based on godly principles and our events revolve around shared interests or experiences such as motherhood, career development, mental health, or trauma/abuse survivors. Our women's support group aims to create a safe space where women can lead each other to Christ, express their experiences, feelings, and struggles in a compassionate and non-judgmental setting. Members can offer each other empathy, validation, advice, and guidance. The group can be facilitated by a trained professional such as a social worker or therapist, or by a group member. Meetings can take place in person or virtually and can be scheduled regularly or as needed. Besides emotional support, our women's support group can also provide practical assistance, such as resources for job training, financial aid, or childcare. Additionally, we can serve as a platform for advocacy and activism, working collectively to address issues affecting women's lives and promoting social change. Our women's support group provides a significant opportunity for women to connect, share, and develop together, building a sense of community and empowerment.
